We’ve compiled a short list of affordable ethical clothing brands to help you begin your journey to a more ethical wardrobe. Now when we say affordable we aren’t talking $2 t-shirts, $10 jeans and $20 coats. The fast fashion affordable zone is much different than the ethical fashion affordable zone, so be ready to pay a bit more for a quality piece of consciously made apparel. This list of brands (among many other great ones out there) is a good place to start and you can find within each of these stores some items that are under $100 and even at times under $50!

If you are looking for a brand to kickstart your ethical wardrobe then Everlane is a good place to start. Priced on the lower end of ethical fashion their basics are a great deal. With T-shirts starting at $16 and sweatshirts in the $50 range they are an affordable option to kickstart your new wardrobe. They also carry high-end materials to accommodate a more luxe style such as their cashmere sweaters priced around $100.
