His & Her Monochrome Athleisure: Casual City Strolls

written by JILL March 20, 2017

Since living in New York City and downtown Vancouver, I’ve always had a love for city life. I love exploring the back alleys and taking shots of city architecture and grunge. Luke and I went  for  a recent stroll around downtown Vancouver the other day to play around with our new camera and lens’ that we just bought.

Both Luke and I love the monochrome neutral comfort go-to outfits that would probably be best described as streetwear athleisure. I think if you took a look at both of our wardrobes you’d think you were watching a black and white film, but we would’t have it any other way. Here are the details from our recent stroll.

Jill’s Outfit Details |

Girlfriend Collective tights in Medium (super tight but super comfy and flexible. They also haven’t launched their new collection, but will be doing so within the next couple months)

+  Nirvanna Designs Oversized Cable Rib Neckwarmer in Oatmeal

+  Alternative Apparel  Cool Down Eco-Jersey Hoodie in Medium from the Jogger Bundle

+ Leather Bomber I found from a thrift store in Brooklyn a few years back (check out my post for tips on shopping thrifty HERE)

People’s Movement sneakers in Crescent (check out other ethical shoe options from this post HERE)

Luke’s Outfit Details |

+ Uniform Quilted Reversible Bomber Jacket in X-L

+ Alternative Apparel Hustle Eco-Fleece Hoodie from the Bundle in Dark Grey

+ Plato’s Closet Ripped Grey Jeans (this is a great thrift store chain which sells lots of modern name brand thrift clothes for both men and women)
