For the last couple of years we have had the chance to visit BLOOM at the Abbotsford Tulip Festival in the Fraser Valley, BC. Each year we’ve gone in the middle of the day when loads of people are around, but this year we had the great opportunity to hit up a magic hour at 5:30am for a sunrise shoot.

We LOVE doing sunrise shoots! They always produce gorgeous pictures, and no one is really around to get in your pictures so you can feel a lot more relaxed and free to get the shots you want.

Here are a bunch of pictures from our time at the Tulip Festival a couple of weeks ago. The seasons only runs for just over a month and it’s now ended (even when we went the fields were only at around 60% full). But hopefully, these pictures will give you the inspiration to check out this or another tulip festival next springtime!
